About this opportunity
The Harold W. Lemieux Memorial Law Scholarship is offered annually to an undergraduate student entering the Faculty of Law, JD program at the University of Calgary. The scholarship is renewable in the second and third year of the JD program based on maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.20 on a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and is intended for students who hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, though other Bachelor degrees in Science will be considered. Preference is given to students who have at least 3 years of work experience between completing their undergraduate degree and starting Law school. This award recognizes students who have combined technical or scientific educational backgrounds with professional work experience before pursuing legal studies.
