About this opportunity
This award was established in 1999 by the late Bill Ratcliffe, a Harper Adams Fellow and founder of the Harper Cymry alumni association. The award is open to final year undergraduate students of Harper Adams University who have been resident in Wales for 5 years or more, have contributed to the activities of the Harper Cymru student club, possess a good academic record in higher education, have made a positive contribution to the broader student community, and demonstrate potential as a good future ambassador for Harper Adams University. Year 4 BEng and MEng students, and Harper-based BVetMS students, are treated as final year undergraduate students and are eligible to apply. The award will be presented during the prestigious RWAS Show awards ceremony. The recipient will receive £250 and automatic eligibility for membership of Future Farmers of Wales. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges based on a written application followed by interview at Harper Adams University.
