About this opportunity
The Harry A and Frances Lepofsky Friedman Award is an entrance scholarship awarded to students who are First Nation, Inuit, or MΓ©tis people of Canada in accordance with the Constitution Act, 1982, Part 2, Section 35(2). The award is given to students entering the University of Alberta from high school on the basis of satisfactory academic achievement (70% or better). This endowed fund was established by Ruth Bernice Friedman, daughter of Harry A and Frances Lepofsky Friedman, to support Indigenous students pursuing higher education at the University of Alberta.
