About this opportunity
The Harry & Anne Love Scholarship is awarded to a full-time returning student who has achieved the highest combined average in Stat 1910, 1920, and 2910, as part of a major in Mathematics or Statistics at the University of Prince Edward Island. This scholarship honors Dr. Harry and Anne Love, both alumni of Prince of Wales College and founders of UPEI. Dr. Harry Love, who completed his PhD in mathematics at Dalhousie University, had a special interest in statistics and was deeply passionate about teaching. Anne Love also valued education and teaching. The couple played key roles in the development of UPEI and remained active supporters of the university. Dr. Harry Love passed away in January 2017, but the scholarship continues to celebrate their legacy and commitment to student success in mathematics and statistics.
