About this opportunity
Awarded to student(s) with satisfactory academic standing continuing in or convocating with an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences who have completed a minimum of 3 courses in Range Management. Selection based on demonstrated excellence in the classroom and associated field experience, and community involvement. Student(s) may receive this award no more than twice during their academic career. This endowed award was established by the estate of Harry Cornwell, who was a major booster of range management in Alberta, including the education and training of undergraduate and graduate students. During the 1980's, Harry was instrumental in helping build research endowments at the University of Alberta that supported undergraduate and graduate students, including travel support for members of the University of Alberta Range Team to compete at the annual Society for Range Management Meeting.
