Harry Frost Chemistry Scholarship

The Harry Frost Chemistry Scholarship supports full-time junior, senior, or graduate students majoring in chemistry or teacher certification with chemistry specialization at Eastern Illinois University. Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 and submit a one-page statement of career goals. Financial need is a consideration in the selection process. First preference is given to non-traditional students, and second preference is given to students employed for at least 20 hours per week in addition to their course load. The scholarship is renewable, allowing recipients to apply again provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria. The award is announced in the spring semester and awarded in the fall semester. This scholarship supports students pursuing careers in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or science education with a chemistry focus.
