Harry J Strynadka Research Prize

The Harry J Strynadka Research Prize is awarded to a student enrolled in a 200, 300, or 400 level Native Studies course at the University of Alberta. The prize recognizes the best research paper on specific 19th century topics related to Prairie Indigenous peoples, buffalo/bison, or the Environment. This award was established through endowed funds by Harry J Strynadka, an active friend and philanthropist of the Faculty of Native Studies. Students are automatically considered for this prize based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal.
