About this opportunity
The Harry MacLauchlan Memorial Award in Entrepreneurship is awarded to a student entering fourth year who has taken Business 371, Entrepreneurship, demonstrates enthusiasm for self-employment, shows promise for executing a business plan, and has his or her own business or is actively involved in managing a family business. The award was established in memory of Harry W. MacLauchlan of Stanhope, PEI. The original principal for this fund was derived from donations made to UPEI in Mr. MacLauchlan's memory following his untimely death in March 2002. The annual proceeds will be directed to deserving students in entrepreneurship and math, two areas of keen interest and ability of Harry MacLauchlan.
