Harry P Chomik & Mary (Lutzak) Chomik Agricultural Sciences Award

The Mary Chomik (Lutzak) & Harry P. Chomik Agricultural Sciences Award was established in 2015 by Don Lutzak & Julia Hrapko to support students pursuing agricultural sciences education. This award is available to students enrolled full-time in the first year of any Agricultural Sciences program on the Vermilion campus at Lakeland College. The award recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement and come from families currently engaged in farming, with particular emphasis on organic and environmental farming practices. Preference is given to students from Alberta, supporting the next generation of agricultural professionals committed to sustainable farming methods.
