About this opportunity

The Harvey Anderson Centennial Bar None Award is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the first year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences in Agriculture, Animal Health, or Nutrition and Food Science. Selection is based on demonstrated leadership in the community and involvement in extracurricular activities, as well as academic standing. Preference is given to students from rural communities. This award was endowed by Dr. G Harvey Anderson, BSc(Ag) '64, MSc '66, in memory of his wife Ethel Elizabeth McKenzie and father-in-law John Finley MacKenzie, and in appreciation of the Agriculture Class of '64 to mark the Faculty of ALES' Centenary. Students are eligible to receive only one Bar None Award or Scholarship in any given academic year.
