Hatch Engineering Equity Scholarship

The Hatch Engineering Equity Scholarship is designed to support domestic students experiencing financial hardship who are enrolled in engineering programs at the University of Queensland. The scholarship was established in 2022 and is maintained by an annual gift from Hatch. This scholarship provides financial assistance to help students complete their Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or related dual degree programs. Recipients are selected based on evidence of financial hardship, academic achievements, personal qualities including leadership potential, community service or engagement, and other factors considered relevant to future success in the engineering profession. The scholarship supports students who have completed between 12 and 52-76 units (depending on program) of their engineering degree and do not hold another similar scholarship.
