Hawkes-Little Graduate Scholarship

One or more scholarships are awarded to academically outstanding graduate students whose research focuses on maritime interests in the Pacific Northwest. Preference is given to studies and/or research on living marine resources in such fields as history, biology, microbiology, biochemistry, oceanography, or habitat. The scholarships are open to full-time graduate students who meet the minimum requirement of an A- average. Applicants must submit a description of their research with a maximum of 350 words. Approval of the recipients is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee. The award amount varies and students should consult with specific departments including Biology, Biochemistry, Environmental Studies, Earth and Ocean Sciences, and History regarding application details and deadlines.
