Hayley's Hope Scholarship Fund

The Hayley's Hope Scholarship Fund is founded upon the memory of Hayley O'Neill, who attended Northern Arizona University on a full tuition scholarship majoring in electrical engineering. During her sophomore year, Hayley began her transition from male to female and experienced many obstacles that led her to take a break from her education. She had always hoped to resume her education and obtain her degree once she had fully transitioned, but due to obstacles and barriers, she was unable to achieve this. It is the desire of the fund that through this scholarship, they will help to eliminate some of the financial barriers to obtaining a higher education. Through financial support, the fund hopes to ease the financial burdens that the transgender community experiences in obtaining higher education. The scholarship emphasizes that with HOPE, anything is possible.
