About this opportunity

The Haywood Fellowship provides a discount at the Home tuition fee rate and a small maintenance grant for doctoral researchers in History of Art at the University of Birmingham. International students are eligible to apply, and if successful, will have the Home fee amount deducted from their tuition fees and will receive a small maintenance grant. While it is hoped that the scholarship would be continued for three years, it will be subject to an annual review. The fellowship is open to all Home and International applicants pursuing campus-based doctoral research in History of Art commencing in September 2026. The scholarship is also open to current History of Art PhD students at the University of Birmingham, who are going into their second year.
