Hazlehead Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund

The Hazlehead Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund supports local community groups, voluntary organisations, and environmental projects that fight poverty and enrich lives within the boundaries of the Hazlehead Wind Farm. Located on the northern edge of the Peak District National Park, south of Huddersfield, this fund is specifically for communities in the parish of Dunford, South Yorkshire. The fund provides grants to support a wide range of community activities including energy efficiency, environmental protection, health and wellbeing, regeneration, community facility improvements, education and training, and social welfare initiatives. Organizations do not need to be registered charities to apply but must have charitable aims. Eligible applicants include community groups, voluntary organizations, playgroups, youth clubs, village halls, sports clubs, Scout and Guide groups, environmental projects, clubs for senior citizens, and schools for non-statutory projects.
