About This Opportunity
The HB Collier Memorial Gold Medal is awarded annually to a student graduating from Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Alberta on the basis of superior academic achievement. This award honors the late Dr. H. Bruce Collier, FRSC, who was a past-president of the Faculty Association, a past-chairman of the Biochemistry Department, and the supervisor of the first PhD student registered at the University of Alberta. The endowed fund was established by the family, friends and colleagues of Dr. Collier, Medical Laboratory Science Alumni, and the Faculty of Medicine. Part-time students are eligible for this award, and recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
