HBCU Leaders in Global Health Scholarship

The HBCU Leaders in Global Health Scholarship is offered by Child Family Health International (CFHI) to support students enrolled in or recently graduated from historically black colleges or universities. The scholarship provides funding to cover the total program cost of a 4-week CFHI place-based global health program, up to $3,360, with the specific amount varying based on the program fee for each country. This opportunity is designed to enable HBCU students to participate in immersive global health experiences that foster cross-cultural understanding and professional development in healthcare settings abroad. Scholarships are reviewed on a rolling basis with awards announced three times per year in November, March, and June. Applicants must participate in a CFHI place-based program in 2026 that is at least 4 weeks long.
