Heather Henry MacDonald Scholarship in Foods & Nutrition

This annual scholarship recognizes Heather Henry's contributions to education through her career as Assistant Professor and Chair of the Department of Home Economics (now Applied Human Sciences) at UPEI. It is intended to encourage and support deserving students who are committed to working with families. The scholarship is awarded to a full-time student in their fourth year of study with a declared major in the BSc Foods & Nutrition Program who has worked with families locally, nationally, or internationally as part of their UPEI education. The recipient must not be receiving another donor-funded award greater than $1,000. Preference is given to students who have maintained an overall average of 80% or greater in the previous year of study.
