About this opportunity

This is a regional support scheme for Heiplanen funded by Telemark, Agder, Rogaland, and Vestland county municipalities. The grant aims to generate activities that contribute to knowledge dissemination about wild reindeer and wild reindeer mountains to children and young people. The support scheme is anchored in the action program 2024-2027 under the priority area of knowledge-based planning and development. The program seeks to arrange or facilitate experiences or activities to give schoolchildren and youth increased knowledge, pride, and understanding of mountain plateau areas and wild reindeer. The activities and experiences should give school youth increased knowledge and better prerequisites for taking wild reindeer into consideration. It is a prerequisite that the activities and experiences are not in conflict with the living areas of wild reindeer.
