Helen and Elwood R. Nelson Family Scholarship

The Helen and Elwood R. Nelson Family Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen enrolled in the College of Agriculture, Food Systems and Natural Resources at North Dakota State University. Applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. The scholarship provides a one-time award of $2,500 to support undergraduate education in agriculture-related fields. Preference for this scholarship is given to students based on geographic criteria. First preference is given to students from Milnor, North Dakota. Second preference is given to students from Sargent County, North Dakota. Third preference is given to students from anywhere in North Dakota. This scholarship supports incoming freshmen pursuing studies in agriculture, food systems, and natural resources, helping to make higher education more accessible to students from North Dakota communities, particularly rural areas.
