Helen Bader Age & Community Scholarship

The Helen Bader Age and Community Scholarship is designed to increase the number of people with the knowledge and skills to work with and on behalf of older people. The scholarship provides financial support for undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a certificate focused on gerontology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Students may use scholarship funds to cover the cost of tuition, fees, books, and room and board. Scholarships are awarded for one year, and recipients may reapply for additional years of funding. Eligible students must be pursuing the Graduate Certificate in Applied Gerontology, the Undergraduate Certificate in Healthy Aging, or the Social Work Minor in Aging.
