Helen Biltek Leadership Scholarship

The Helen Biltek Leadership Scholarship is awarded to a student who is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree in Honors Mathematical Physics or Honors Physics in the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing with preference given to students with demonstrated leadership in student activities. The scholarship was established through endowed funds by the family, colleagues and friends of Helen Biltek on her retirement as Administrative Assistant in the Department of Physics. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal.
