Helen E. Akers Postgraduate Scholarship

The Helen E. Akers Postgraduate Scholarship is designed for candidates who want to or are currently studying a postgraduate diploma, postgraduate degree, or a doctoral degree with a focus on agriculture or horticulture at Massey University. This scholarship was established under the terms of the will of Helen E. Akers and is funded from her shares in farming company, Maraekowhai Developing Company. The scholarship supports full-time students pursuing postgraduate studies in Applied Academic Programme disciplines relevant to agriculture or horticulture. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievements, with consideration also given to other scholarships or bursaries held. The scholarship is designed to provide financial support to high-achieving students committed to advancing knowledge and practice in agricultural or horticultural fields.
