Helen J. Krehbiel Music Education Scholarship

The Helen J. Krehbiel Music Education Scholarship is awarded to junior-level students pursuing a Music Education major at Eastern Illinois University with the intent of pursuing a career in Music Education. Preference is given to students pursuing Vocal or General Music Certification. The scholarship is renewable, allowing recipients to reapply provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria. Recipients are chosen based on their declared major in Music Education, with second preference given to alternative music education students. The award may be announced in the Spring semester and awarded in the Fall semester. Applicants are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the university's scholarship portal.
