Helen Martin Memorial Scholarship Fund-SWIM-Lexington High School

The Helen Martin Memorial Scholarship Fund is presented in memory of Helen Martin by Paul, Nancy, Jeffrey and Bradley Martin. Helen Martin was an educator with twenty-five years of teaching experience in Ohio public schools. Promoting and assisting students obtain an education was of great importance to her and is the reason for this Scholarship Fund. Nancy Martin was the Head Varsity Swimming Coach at Lexington High School for twelve years, starting with its inception in 1990. Sons and Grandchildren Jeffrey and Bradley were members of the Lexington High School varsity swimming team. This scholarship supports graduating seniors who have been members of the Lexington High School Swim and Dive Team for at least two seasons and are pursuing post-secondary education at an accredited public or non-profit independent college, university or technical school in the U.S. A scholarship award may be made to one boy and one girl each academic year.
