About this opportunity
The Helen Myers Scholarship supports female singing students at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, University of Sydney. Established in 1994 from the estate of Hector McDonald Scott, this scholarship assists students to pursue studies in singing. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and/or portfolio and performance, and for postgraduate research applicants, on research achievements and potential. The scholarship value and duration are determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and stipulated in the scholarship offer letter to successful recipients. No separate application is necessary, as eligible students are automatically considered as part of their admission application to the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The scholarship is available for both coursework and research degree students studying singing.
