Henning & Ida Perssons Forskningsbidrag

Henning & Ida Perssons Forskningsstiftelse was established in spring 1997 by Ida Persson. The foundation's purpose is to promote medical research on common diseases, preferably cancer. The foundation either annually awards a research grant called 'Henning & Ida Perssons Forskningsbidrag' to an institution or individual who has particularly distinguished themselves through scientific innovation, or provides grants for research in specified areas upon application. The foundation supports research expenses but does not fund salaries, travel for conference participation, or similar expenses. Granted research funds may not be used for salary costs, indirect costs, overhead costs, or similar expenses. Equipment acquired through the foundation's grant should be made available to the applicant as long as they conduct the research task for which the grant was awarded.
