About this opportunity
The Henri Daniel Memorial Scholarship was established in honour of Henri Daniel, an electrician who dedicated his life to his craft and worked across Western Canada. Henri Daniel was born in 1935 on a farm in Saskatchewan and pursued his career in electrical work, taking him from Saskatchewan to British Columbia, the Yukon, and eventually Alberta where he lived until his passing in 2024. His nieces, Sonya and Selene, created this award in his honour, knowing he would be pleased to support students in the Electrician Program at NAIT. The scholarship is available to Electrician apprenticeship students enrolled in the fourth period of the Electrician apprenticeship program and is awarded on the basis of top marks. This award recognizes academic excellence and supports students pursuing careers in the electrical trades.
