About this opportunity
This scholarship was originally set up by Henry Braly, the founder of The Braly Family Foundation, and his family has continued to honor him by offering this scholarship in his memory. Henry was a lineman at Longmont High School in the 1950s and continued to play football in college. The scholarship awards $10,000 to one graduating senior who plays as a lineman at any high school in the St Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD). The award is renewable, with $5,000 awarded for the first eligible year, and if the renewable criteria are met, the remaining $5,000 will be awarded. Scholarship funds are restricted to tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other direct educational expenses related to study at an accredited trade school, two-year or four-year college or university for the upcoming fall semester with a minimum of 12 enrolled credit hours.
