About This Opportunity
The Henry Ling Roth Research Fund provides scholarships of up to £1,000 to support research in Social Anthropology and the publication of the results of such research. These scholarships are intended for PhD students in their final (fourth) year of study who can demonstrate progress towards completing their PhD thesis. The fund is open to any member of the University of Cambridge who is working, or has worked, in the Department of Social Anthropology. Approximately three awards are available per year, and the scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the William Wyse Professor of Social Anthropology. The fund supports students facing financial need, including hardship situations, and is intended to help them complete their doctoral research.
