About this opportunity
The Henry Van Zeggelaar Scholarship in Poultry Science is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of the BSc. in Agriculture (Animal Science major), BSc. in Animal Health, BSc. in Agricultural/Food Business Management, or BSc. in Nutrition and Food Science program who is enrolled in a course that involves poultry related projects. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate strong communication skills, a demonstrated commitment to the poultry industry, and academic standing. This award is provided by endowed funds established by friends of Mr. Henry Van Zeggelaar, in honour of his dedication to the undergraduate program in Poultry Science and to recognize his retirement from Lilydale after 38 years of service. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship platform.
