Herb Link Memorial Award

The Herb Link Memorial Award is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the second year of a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing, demonstrated leadership, sportsmanship ability and expected distinguished contribution to the dental profession and dental community. Preference will be given to a student in financial need. This award was endowed by colleagues, friends and family in memory of Herb Link, a popular Edmonton dentist who was rapidly emerging as a community leader in Edmonton at the time of his death.
