Herbert and Eva Schaefer String Scholarship

The Herbert and Eva Schaefer String Scholarship awards one or more tuition scholarships to outstanding students of violin, viola, cello, or double bass. The scholarship is available to students entering or continuing in the music program at either the undergraduate or graduate level at the University of Victoria. For undergraduate nominees, approval is made by the Senate Committee on Awards upon recommendation of the School of Music. For graduate nominees, approval is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Graduate Awards Committee upon recommendation of the School of Music. No application is required as awards are assigned based on nominations from eligible academic units.
