About This Opportunity
The scholarships enable particularly gifted Master's students, doctoral candidates and (junior) researchers of German language and literature studies to come to the Institute of German Philology at Würzburg University for the purpose of education and further training. Candidates from specific countries in Central and Eastern Europe are eligible to apply. The funding covers short stays (1-2 months), study periods of 1 semester, post-graduate programmes (1 year, can be extended by 1 year), research projects as part of doctoral studies (1-6 months), and research projects of applicants with doctorates (1-12 months). The monthly grant amounts vary depending on the sponsorship purpose, ranging from 950 EUR for a short stay to 2,250 EUR for a research project.
