About This Opportunity

The Hershel and Mary Anne Harris Entrance Scholarship is an entrance scholarship for outstanding undergraduate students entering first year in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. One scholarship valued at up to $1,500 is awarded annually. Selection is based on a combination of high school admission grades, results of Math contests as administered through the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), and extracurricular achievement as assessed through the Admission Information Form. This scholarship supports students pursuing various mathematics programs including Computer Science, Honours Mathematics, Mathematics/Business Administration, Mathematics/Financial Analysis and Risk Management, Mathematics/Chartered Professional Accountancy, and double degree programs with Business Administration through Wilfrid Laurier University. The award is automatically considered and does not require a separate application.
