HESPAL (Higher Education Scholarships for Palestinians)
About This Opportunity
The HESPAL (Higher Education Scholarships for Palestinians) program provides comprehensive financial support for Palestinian scholars to pursue postgraduate studies at Imperial College London. The scholarship is designed for resident citizens of the Occupied Palestinian Territories who are currently employed by a Palestinian partner university. The program covers full tuition fees, provides a monthly stipend, and includes additional allowances to support scholars throughout their studies. Applicants must be nominated by their university and provide a written commitment to return and work at their institution after completing their degree, for a duration agreed upon with their institution. Alternative provisions may be considered for scholars from Gaza. The scholarship aims to support the development of Palestinian academic institutions by enabling their staff to obtain advanced qualifications and return to contribute to their home universities.
