About This Opportunity

The University of Birmingham offers £5,000 scholarships for international students domiciled in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa who are applying for entry to an undergraduate programme starting September 2026. These are joint awards with the University's local representatives. The scholarships will be awarded to the highest performing students starting their University of Birmingham programme in the 2026/2027 academic year. Applicants must have received an offer and selected the University of Birmingham as their firm choice for a full-time undergraduate programme, meet the academic conditions of their offer, be classed as an overseas fee payer, have sufficient funds to cover living costs plus visa/travel expenses, and be registered with one of the University's local representatives in the eligible countries. The award is £5,000 towards first-year tuition fees only.
