High Fliers Undergraduate Scholarships for Thailand

The University of Birmingham offers £5,000 scholarships for Thailand-domiciled students applying for entry to undergraduate programmes starting September 2026. The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee reduction during year 1 only and is a one-off award. The scholarships will be awarded to the highest performing students starting their University of Birmingham programme in the 2026/27 academic year. Applicants must write an essay outlining 'Why Birmingham' in not more than 300 words, and selection is based on academic performance and the essay content. Students already registered at the University or applying for MBChB Medicine and Surgery or BDS Dental Surgery are not eligible. The scholarship cannot be held alongside government scholarships or other external scholarships, though it can be combined with departmental scholarships where terms permit.
