About This Opportunity

The High Sheriff's Fund provides grants for work which addresses citizenship, community safety and crime prevention in Suffolk. The fund supports projects tackling issues such as bullying, vandalism and arson, anti-social behaviour, homelessness, internet safety, personal safety, road safety, knife crime, and drug and alcohol abuse/awareness. This year, the High Sheriff's priorities also include homelessness, care leavers, mentoring, career aspirations, and work readiness. The Foundation considers applications from voluntary and community groups in Suffolk whose primary aim is to improve the quality of people's lives. Schools can also apply subject to the project being an extra-curricular activity. Grants of up to £2,000 are available for eligible projects that meet the fund's criteria.
