Highline Future Teachers Kelly Linderman Scholarship

The Highline Future Teachers Kelly Linderman Scholarship creates opportunities for outstanding graduates of Highline Academy who plan to pursue a career in teaching and/or education broadly. The scholarship was created in honor of Kelly Linderman, a beloved educator known for her warmth, humor, and belief in every child she met. Kelly exemplified strong character, work ethwork, and passion for learning throughout her career. This scholarship aims to help Highline students begin a career in education that is as rewarding and meaningful as Kelly's was. The scholarship supports students pursuing careers in teaching or education broadly, including education administration or social work within a school setting. Recipients must embody Highline Academy's core values (REACH: Responsibility, Empowerment, Aspiration, Citizenship, and Honesty) and demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to applicants pursuing a career in teaching.
