About this opportunity
The Hill Dickinson Foundation is a fund administered and managed by the Community Foundation for Lancashire and Merseyside. Hill Dickinson is an international law firm which has been headquartered in Liverpool for over 200 years. The Hill Dickinson Foundation aims to make a positive contribution to the communities in which the firm operates by supporting local grassroots organisations and projects.
The fund supports community organisations with an income level of under £250,000 for projects that meet at least one of four priorities: Mental Health (projects assisting those suffering from ill mental health or encouraging positive mental wellbeing, including for people with neurodivergent conditions and disabilities), Employability (projects supporting access to work for those unemployed or aspiring to rejoin the workforce), Food Poverty (projects alleviating food poverty and contributing towards food security in a sustainable way), and Homelessness (projects tackling the issues of homelessness).
The foundation prefers to fund specific projects as the principal funder rather than contributing towards larger project costs. Applicants must demonstrate how their proposed project meets the foundation's priorities and ensure beneficiaries are from the Greater Manchester area. Applications should demonstrate a real need for their project and clearly show the impact and difference it will make to beneficiaries. The total budget available is £10,000, with between 4-6 grants expected to be awarded across Greater Manchester.
