Hill Dickinson Foundation – Tower Hamlets

The Hill Dickinson Foundation is a fund administered and managed by the Community Foundation for Lancashire and Merseyside. Hill Dickinson is an international law firm which has been headquartered in Liverpool for over 200 years. The Hill Dickinson Foundation aims to make a positive contribution to the communities in which the firm operates by supporting local grassroots organisations and projects. The fund supports community organisations with an income level of under £250,000 for projects that address mental health, employability, food poverty, or homelessness. Priority areas include projects that assist those suffering from ill mental health or encourage positive mental wellbeing, projects that support access to work for unemployed individuals, initiatives that alleviate food poverty and contribute towards food security in a sustainable way, and projects that tackle the issues of homelessness. Grants of up to £2,500 are available to grassroots groups in Tower Hamlets. The total budget available is £10,000, with 4-6 grants expected to be awarded. Hill Dickinson prefers to fund specific projects and be the principal funder rather than a contributor towards a much larger project cost. Applications must demonstrate how their proposed project meets the foundation's priorities and show clear impact for beneficiaries in Tower Hamlets.
