Hillig Student Assistance Award

The Hillig Student Assistance Award was established in 2017 by Dr. Kathy J. Dien Hillig, BS '77 and Dr. Kurt W. Hillig II to support undergraduate chemistry majors at the University at Buffalo. This award is available to students who have completed two or more years of chemistry courses. Funds may be used for various activities that further support a student's study of chemistry, including but not limited to travel to conferences, research projects, or summer study programs. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the University at Buffalo Scholarship Portal. The award amount varies depending on available funding and the number of qualified applicants.
