Hill's Pet Nutrition Course Award for VCA 3522 Clinical Nutrition in Small Animal General Practice

Granted to a student who has completed their final year of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program at the University of Prince Edward Island who has maintained a focus on nutrition as a cornerstone of veterinary medicine and the 5th vital assessment. They have demonstrated keen knowledge and application of small animal clinical nutrition upon completion of the third year elective: VCA 3522 Clinical Nutrition in Small Animal General Practice. Hill's Pet Nutrition's mission is to help enrich and lengthen the special relationships between people and their pets through quality nutrition. The company has supported awards for AVC students for years. In 2019, Hill's Pet Nutrition revised the criteria for its awards, resulting in a new cohort of AVC students receiving Hill's support.
