About this opportunity
Granted to a student who has completed their final year of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program at the University of Prince Edward Island who has maintained a focus on nutrition as a cornerstone of veterinary medicine and the 5th vital assessment. The successful recipient will have demonstrated keen knowledge and application of small animal clinical nutrition over the course of their clinical rotations (which may include a nutrition rotation if available). This award is presented at the White Coat Ceremony and recognizes outstanding achievement in applying clinical nutrition principles throughout veterinary training. Hill's Pet Nutrition supports this award as part of their mission to help enrich and lengthen the special relationships between people and their pets through quality nutrition, continuing a tradition of caring that began in 1939.
