Hirsh Family Scholarship Fund

The Hirsh Family Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation in honor of Donald and Patricia Hirsh to provide scholarships for students from Allegheny County pursuing higher education in a STEM or medical field at a community college in Pennsylvania. This single-year award provides financial support to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or medical fields at Pennsylvania community colleges. Recipients must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate their commitment to STEM or medical education through their application and essay.
