About this opportunity
This scholarship was created to honor the memory and legacy of David Kraus, who graduated from UWM with a history degree in 1973 and was honored with membership in the history honor society, Phi Alpha Theta. The scholarship is awarded to a history major with demonstrated high academic merit. Students must have an up-to-date Panther Scholarship Portal General Application and the College of Letters & Science Scholarships and Awards Application to be considered. No additional or separate application is required beyond these general applications. Awards are announced in spring each year for the following school year. Second degree students are not eligible, and students graduating in the same spring or summer when awards are announced are also not eligible for that award cycle.
