About this opportunity
Awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular activities and community service and academic standing. Preference is given to students with indicated financial need. Receipt of the funding for the second year is contingent upon the achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to April period in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences. This renewable scholarship emphasizes both academic excellence and demonstrated leadership through community engagement.
