About this opportunity
The Holmes Production Scholarship of £8,000 is available to 1 Home student from a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic background accepted on the first year of studies on the BA Fashion Communication course at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. Founded in 2010 by producer Laura Holmes, Holmes Production is an independent Creative Production company dedicated to creativity, artistry and the power of image. Laura Holmes has partnered with UAL and established the Holmes Production Scholarship to financially support talented students from diverse low income backgrounds who might otherwise be deterred from studying at Central Saint Martins. This scholarship will provide maintenance support for a first-year student entering the BA Fashion Communication course at Central Saint Martins in September 2026. The Holmes Production Scholarship will open up opportunities to talented creatives from underrepresented communities with the intention of advancing equality and inclusion in the fashion industry. The scholarship will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit. It will provide a contribution towards maintenance costs for the first year of the course. Applications are particularly welcome from students from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds who are in financial hardship and will benefit from undergraduate studies to realise their full potential.
