Hon Samuel S Lieberman Memorial Scholarship in Law

The Hon Samuel S Lieberman Memorial Scholarship in Law is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement who is convocating with a Degree of Juris Doctor. The scholarship recognizes law students who have secured a clerking position with the superior courts in any province or territory in Canada or with the Federal superior courts. This award is endowed by members of the Lieberman family, and friends and colleagues of the Hon Samuel S Lieberman, who was a sessional lecturer in the Faculty of Law and long-time member of the Court of Appeal of Canada. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
